According to Amber, the content creator behind Grazin Through Life, all you need to make your own Cheez-Its is thinly sliced cheddar cheese and some sea salt.
While yes, this does sound too good to be true, it’s not.
To craft the snack, you’ll stack several slices of cheese together. Then, slice the cheese through the center length-wise and width-wise forming squares (like Cheeze-Its). Separate the cheese squares and place them in a single layer on a piece of parchment paper.
Use a bamboo skewer or chopstick edge and poke a small hole in the center of each square. Baking in the oven at 275 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes. Once done, remove them, sprinkle on a bit of sea salt, and you’ve got a low-carb and keto snack.
With this recipe, you can also add seasonings, use a different type of sliced cheese, and bake as crispy or soft are you’d like. There are tons of customizable snack options.
