Hand Sanitizers Recalled For Expired Active Ingredient - happi.com

Midlab Inc., Athens TN, is recalling select lots of Maxim Instant Foam and Corsair Personal Care 99X Instant Foam products sold in one gallon drums. The announcement was made on FDA's website.

Midlab Incorporated, Athens, TN, is recalling hand sanitizer products due to CGMP deviations. According to the FDA recall notice, the company used an expired active ingredient, benzalkonium chloride, in select products.

The products impacted are Maxim Instant Foam Hand (benzalkonium chloride 0.1%) packaged in a one gallon (3.78 Liters) drums UPC 7 61841, specifically 892 gallons and one 55 gallon drum; and  Corsair Personal Care 99X Instant Foam Hand Sanitizer (benzalkonium chloride 0.1%)128 Fl. Oz. (1 Gal.) 3.78 liters bottles, Southern Products & Services, Inc. (Cumming, GA), Lot #: 06172022-1.
