Chef's 3-Ingredient No-Cook Faux Strawberry Mousse Recipe May Become Your Favorite Summer Dessert | Desserts - 30Seconds.com

Want a fresh dessert? This easy three-ingredient faux strawberry mousse dessert recipe is not a traditional mousse recipe. The mousse is prepared without egg whites or gelling agents. I usually cook anything with granulated sugar to dissolve the crystals, but this faux strawberry mousse recipe just works. And it's so good, we're pretty sure it may become your favorite summer dessert!

My family loves this simple strawberry dessert, and not one of them noticed that it was not cooked. Shhhhhhh! Let's face it, who wants to be cooking in the kitchen when it's hot out during the summer months? Not me! This season is one of those times you need something fast, no-bake, no hassle, but still delicious.

For this no-cook strawberry dessert you'll need fresh strawberries, granulated sugar and heavy whipping cream. The strawberries and sugar and blended into a puree, and the heavy cream is whipped. Some of the strawberry puree is stirred into the whipped cream. The puree and strawberry whipped cream are layered in individual serving bowls and garnished with fresh strawberries (leave the strawberry leaves on for color). So easy and delicious!
