STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Conagra Brands is recalling a limited amount of Wish-Bone salad dressings due to an undeclared ingredient, which can pose a serious or life-threatening reaction to people with allergies, according to a recall notice from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Some Wish-Bone Thousand Island and Chunky Blue Cheese salad dressings have egg in the product, which is not declared on the product label. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggs run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products, according to the FDA.

The recall includes the 15- and 24-ounce bottles of these products.

OTHER RECENT RECALLS

Last month, Amy’s Kitchen recalled its vegan mac and cheese due to the potential of having trace amounts of milk, which isn’t declared on the product label, according to a recall notice by the FDA.

The company is initiating a voluntary Class I recall of Lot 60J0421 of the Vegan Organic Rice Mac & Cheeze out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of consumers who have an allergy or sensitivity to milk.

After receiving a test result from a third-party lab that indicated one of the meals in the lot contained trace amounts of milk protein, the company immediately contacted the FDA and is notifying all customers to discard any product on shelves or in distribution.

This recall only involves 8-ounce Vegan Organic Rice Mac & Cheeze with a “best by” date of Oct. 2023, UPC code 42272-00043, and Lot Code 60J0421.

In total, 15,626 cases of Vegan Organic Rice Mac & Cheeze are being recalled.
