CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - On CLE Weekend, we showed you some delicious cocktails and mocktails.
I wanted to share my favorite Halloween treat that’s so simple to make and it’s only two ingredients.
Here’s what you need:
1 15 oz can of pumpkin puree
1 box of cake mix (your choice) I like a chocolate, spice or yellow cake for this.
¾ cup of chocolate chips (optional)
You can also add in some pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon (1 tsp). I don’t because I enjoy how they are without.
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.
Mix the pumpkin puree and cake mix in a bowl. The batter will be sticky!
Get a mini muffin pan and spray with non-stick spray. You don’t need muffin cups. These slide right out after baking.
I use two spoons and add a heaping tablespoon of batter to mini muffin pans. It makes 24 mini muffins.
Bake for 20-22 minutes.
This is great for the kids to help with! Arlyn mixed the whole thing.
They’ll be spongy little pumpkin balls that are super moist! I store in an airtight container if there are any left after 24 hours.
Enjoy and I’ll see you next Saturday on CLE Weekend at 8:00 a.m!
